Addressment and clarification of the abnormal Darksteel exploitation
We have recently detected an abnormal spike in the number of Darksteel obtained by a small group of individuals in the game. Upon closer examination, we were able to identify an abnormality associated with recurring receipt instances resulting in identical receivable items to temporarily become claimable.
The main issue stems from this abnormality being exploited by certain individuals to repeatedly claim unwarranted Darksteel in the game.
It is clearly stated through our ToS that any bug exploitation or attempts of bug-use will result in a permanent account ban without warning. In this specific case, we will also enact our zero-tolerance policy against anyone associated with the bug exploitation including, but not limited to, 2nd party beneficiaries, collaborators, and promoters.
The repercussions of this incident however, is minimal due to the nature of blockchain and DRACO’s secure ecosystem built on such technology. We have measures in place, including a daily limit of smeltable DRACOs per character and Tokenomics of DRACO, to prevent any potential threats against the economy of DRACO.
Contrary to some rumors, the resulting byproduct was limited only to the unwarranted Darksteel and not with DRACOs. Due to extensive account bans that will result from this incident, most if not all unwarranted Darksteel will also be automatically removed from the game. As such, there is no direct influence on the economy of DRACO through the Darksteel exploitation.
